Gas Mask Fit Test (M/W)

GAS MASK FIT TESTING:
***Gas masks will need to be picked up at LRS Building 8515***

**If you already have a gas mask, please bring it to your appointment**
*You do not need a medical clearance for a gas mask fit test*

You need a gas mask fit test if any of the following applies to you:
- First-term Airmen (new to the AF)
- Have had facial reconstructive surgery (will need a different size)
- Lost/gained 10% of your body weight since last fit test (will need a different size)
- If you have not previously fit tested on the M-50 Joint Service CBRN Mask

Respirator Fit Test - All (M/W)

RESPIRATOR FIT TESTING:

***Bring your own Respirator from your shop***

***IAW 29 CFR 1910.134 App A Respiratory Protection, BE will only fit test "Clean Shaven" personnel. Any facial hair that breaks the seal of the respirator, to include a full beard or stubble, will result in cancellation and rescheduling of fit test appointment.***

**Medical Evaluation Questionnaires (MEQ's) - For first time personnel enrolling in Respiratory Protection (RP) program at JBER.**
*MEQ's must be signed/approved prior to fit testing respirators.*

-If you are medically cleared, mark Y when prompted-
-You can check if you are medically cleared on your IMR in the Occupational Health tab. If your status is current for Respirator, you are cleared to get fit tested.
-If you have a physical copy of your MEQ (must be signed), please bring that in to your fit test appointment
